More night shots

This has been fun...Mark and I did this once in DC.  It makes for a late night, but it's worth it occasionally.

Busch Stadium:  Tomorrow is opening day for the Cardinals, so it's getting kinda crazy around here.

Another view of Arch (doesn't it look like Pinochio is directing the fountain?  except he's facing the wrong direction....)

Tired...

I'm beat...can I go on vacation again?

well, we ultimately left the plane in Huntsville to go home.  I then spent today in the car going to retrieve the poor thing.  Then flew to St Louis for work.  What a long day it has been.  I've also been reminded on why I don't edit photos on the laptop...it's slow!

28 Mar:
I wandered around after dinner with the camera.

One of these days, I'll get caught up from the last few weeks.

Answer

If you guessed that is not our car in the garage you are correct. Wx wasn't good again today, so we left the poor plane in AL and drove home. Unfortunately, i forgot to get a pic of the plane in the downpouring rain/lightning....

What is the problem?

Can you tell me what's wrong with this picture?

Stuck

Wx didn't cooperate to get home today. So we spent an extra day in AL. That means more golf...

Spring

My daffodils are open, and the trees are starting to bud...must mean spring is around the corner.  (Yes I'm late again, as this is yesterday's)

I won't have access to a computer for the next week, so I'll get them when I can.

16-18 Mar

yep, really behind.  I blame the time change!

16 Mar:  Carillon Bell Tower in Dayton.

17 Mar:  St Patrick's Day!  Mark made an appletini

My basil plant has been in bloom for a while, so I finally got some pictures of the flowers:

18 Mar:  Yes, the glass is smudged, I'm disappointed that I didn't think of that, but as Mark was pouring it was a wow moment, needed to do it quick...

Maybe I'll actually get today's picture up on the right day!  We're off to golf, then maybe try to brew some beer.

14-15 Mar

I'm not doing well on the processing of pictures, sorry...  I am taking them daily, just not getting to the computer to process/post.

14 Mar:  Mark's office is doing a NCAA Basketball bracket...winner gets lunch.  They usually ask someone from the outside to participate, and asked me!  Since I don't follow basketball, I took out the dice (from D&D) to help guide my choices.

15 Mar:  Close up of the prayer shawl

11,12 & 13 Mar

Yes, I'm behind... I took the pictures, but haven't wanted to spend the time processing them.

11 Mar:

12 Mar:  there was almost an inch of snow on the ground yesterday morning, and today...

Martini of the week:  The Kill Divil (rum, Ginger liqueur, and honey).  Original recipe called for brandy and grated ginger, but we improvised....

13 Mar: Went looking for hawks and other raptors.  Best I got was a buzzard, but he didn't make the cut, so this will have to do...

9-10 Mar

9 Mar:  Reach out and touch someone...

10 Mar:
It's snowing again....they are calling for a half inch!  what happened to Spring????

7-8 Mar

8 Mar 11:  I always felt bad for this F-4....

7 Mar 11:  With off camera flash, Peppy is a little more patient with the camera in her face.

6 Mar

One of the blooms in my orchid is opening.  It's colors are brighter than the older ones, then I realized that this must be a Mardi Gras orchid due to the coloring...

Two for one (times 2)

So I've actually had good pictures for the last two days, so each day will get two:

4 Mar:
Coined:  I was given a Director's Coin today for some of the recent work my team has accomplished:

Last night I picked red onions with serrano chili to have with dinner tonite.  I loved the red color against the green chili.  BTW:  They were tasty!

3 Mar:
Martini Night:  Mark made a Maple Leaf with Bourbon, maple syrup and lemon.

It's amazing, I went to the library and picked up a bunch of books. I think I actually only read one of them.  The rest didn't hold my interest, so I went back to one of my old time favorites.

1-2 Mar

The sun had the right angle across the painting and spotlighted the grape pretty nicely!
